FINANCIAL REVIEW Flnanclal posltion During the period, thè Trust received donations lotallln9 £178,363.55. The eharity also disposed of a property for £496.368, resulting in a galn on dlsposal of £256,366. The proceeds from the sale remain hèld In the charily'5 bank accounts while tha trustees identify a suitable replacement propety lo Support the charity's activies. During the year the Iruslee considered selling ihe propety. This decision was influenced by several security-ielaled incidents over recent yearg including act ol vandalism and arson. Such ac15 posed ongoing risks lo the property and also the charity. After careFul Gonsideralion. the trustees unanimously approved lo sell the propety al a general meeting. Before proceeding with the sale, the Imslees considered the property'5 market value and agieed lo accept the highest offer re2wnably obtainable.
