OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectives and alms
The charity has continued lo give donab'ons lo local community and voluntary education cenlers in the UK,
Pakistan & 8angladesh to as51sI ihern with their community work.
In addition the Charity's work has been lo distribute funds to needy and destitute families in Pakistan &
Bangladesh Pakistan & Bangladesh have no social welfarè system and a lafge proportion ol the population
exits in KK)veriy and ha5 no acces5 to healthcare or any othèr social care fa¢ililiBs, In addibons widows often
have no SOLJrcè ol income and are therolore open lo explortalion. Orphans are lert by society lo lend for
Ihems8fve5.
The charity has assiste(I pèoplts by giving donalDns lo the needy assi81ing families and orphans based on
local asse¥smenl ol their needs. whether for a￿e$S lo healthcare or other needs.
The charity has conts'nued lo use local volunteers lo ensu￿ that il has been able lo help the most in need
families.

The charity has conts'nued to give donations to local community and voluntary education cenlers In the UK.
Paki518n & Bangladesh lo assist them wilh their community work os well as helping the poor and needy.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Flnanclal posltion
During the period, thè Trust received donations lotallln9 £178,363.55. The eharity also disposed of a property
for £496.368, resulting in a galn on dlsposal of £256,366. The proceeds from the sale remain hèld In the
charily'5 bank accounts while tha trustees identify a suitable replacement propety lo Support the charity's
activi￿es.
During the year the Iruslee considered selling ihe propety. This decision was influenced by several
security-ielaled incidents over recent yearg including act ol vandalism and arson. Such ac15 posed ongoing
risks lo the property and also the charity. After careFul Gonsideralion. the trustees unanimously approved lo
sell the propety al a general meeting.
Before proceeding with the sale, the Imslees considered the property'5 market value and agieed lo accept
the highest offer re2wnably obtainable. They were satisfied that the sale represented the best available vaSue
for th& chadty and that the transaction was consislenl with IheiT duty to act in the charity's best inleresis

prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS 1021 'Ac¢ounting and Reporting by Charities..
Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to chari1Ses preparing their accounis in accordance
w￿h the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the LIK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021
leffeclive 1 January 20191,. Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard
