Section D Achievemenls and performance 5umrnary ol the main achievetnents ol the charity duiing the year The above period was an unusual year for our Rotary Club and the receipts to the Charity Trust Fund registered with the Charity Commission. Previously we have not reached the threshold of £25,000 receipts. However in the above year we had a number of exceptional fund raising events for a registered charity, Class Rooms in the Clouds. Charity No. 1170522.htt www.citcne al.or This is a charity that funds schools and teachers in rural areas of Nepal. As a Club we ran a number of sponsored events and the majority of the funds raised came through "GiveasYouLive" These are restricted funds and linked to a Global International Rotary Grant Application which is progressing through the application process. Rotary International will match the funds raised by our Club. It is anticipated that the grant application will be processed in this financial year and the restricted funds for thls project transferred to Nepal. Otherwise, our receipts and payments were similar to our usual activity. A copy of the accounts for the above period are attached. Morch 2012

Independent examiner’s report to the trustees of Rotary Club of Mid Wirral Trust
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Rotary Club of Mid Wirral Trust (the Trust) for the year ended 30 June 2022.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner’s statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination, giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
-
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or
-
the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
