Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | 1) Our Rehoming has continued to keep us busy, from finding homes for really sweet natured cuddly cats to spending time bringing round cats that were timid but needed time to gain trust. For these we thank our patient staff, volunteers and new homeowners who gave them a chance for their new life. 2) Our shops in Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Modbury continue to support us and we have been looking for more volunteer opportunities on each of these premises. 3) Our warehouse is an extremely busy place with collections, deliveries and donations throughout the day. Our warehouse offers easy parking for donations to unload their car more safely and easily with less time constraints. We are really pleased with our increased sales from the warehouse through ourFacebook online advertising. 4) Our high style LWB van has helped us with easy collections of donated goods and we were able to do more and more house clearances swiftly and efficiently. 5) We held raffles throughout the year at our shops and found our customers loved to have a chance of winning the large boxes of goodies we had to offer. 6) We post photos of our homeless cats on social media and more and more people are contacting us having read our page first and followed us on Facebook. |
7) We are lucky to have dedicated staff who love all cats and worked tirelessly last year to achieve our aims. 8) Luckily we do have a building fund from grants specifically given only to replace our older wooden buildings, but our next new UPVC building will cost over £40,000 so we will be applying again to help our fund grow. 9) We continue to promote online donations from easy fundraising.
