The object of the Trust is to distribute income and/or capital for charitable purposes or to charitable institutions as the trustees may in their absolute discretion from time to time determine.The trustees meet regularly to consider appeals for financial assistance and agree the amounts to be donated in each case.

Objects: To Pay Or Apply Both Capital And Income (After Payment Of All Duties Costs And Expenses) To Or For Such Charity Or Charities Charitable Institution Or Charitable Institutions Or Charitable Objects At Such Time Or Times Within A Period Of Thirty Years Of The Date Of My Death (That Being The Perpetuity Period Under The Perpetuities And Accumulations Act 1964 For The Purposes Of This Subclause (C)) And In Such Shares If More Than One As My Trustees In The Exercise Of Their Absolute Discretion Shall Select And To Accept The Receipt Of The Treasurer Or Other Proper Officer Of Any Such Charity Or Charitable Institution As Their Good And Sufficient Discharge For Any Payment Made By Them.
