You may choose to include further statements, where relevant, about: policy on grantmaking; policy programme related investment; contribution made by volunteers. THREATS Covid-19 still casts its shadow over schools, as they struggle to balance getting the children up-to-speed with STEM subjects that tends to push the Arts into the background sustaining funding for the charity's work after a bumper year (2021) that celebrated Helen's 40th birthday will be a great challenge and we need to be mindful of the altered national economic circumstances in which charities operate for this reason, a sustainable investment by the charity helps to generate income year on year for the charity curriculum and budgetary pressures in schools means reduced arts activity and fewer opportunities for young people participating in the arts the work of the Foundation falls ve lar on TAR July 2021

the Trustees to carry out and is therefore vulnerable to the availability of their time and energy we are not large enough to consider employing staff so will need to remain realistic about our achievable goals all the work of the Foundation is carried out by volunteers and is therefore limited by their availability REVISION TO SCOPE OF CHARITY'S WORK Trustees decided at a meeting in November 2022 that the charity should focus exclusively on schools. This is in order to concentrate resources on where we see the greatest need, considering the pressures that schools are under to maintain and develop their arts curriculum. The effect of this is to suspend for the foreseeable future disbursements for new bursaries and also for contributions to arts projects involving young people but not within schools. Exisiting bursaries will continue as long as the young person needs them and continues to meet the financial criteria. Section D Achievements and performance TAR July 2021
