transferred to the Marthoma Church which
has several projects throughout the state
working with the poorest.
Daily visits to the pediatric oncology unit in
the local hospital including provision of food

Retained strong links with the Regional
Cancer Centre in Trivandrum and have via
that link funded expenses for bone marrow
transplants for some of the poorest children.
Daily lunch provision for over 50 elders and
help with medical care.
Over 100 slum mothers learning tailoring
skills over a six month period. On completion
they can work from home with a donated
sewing machine.
Provide around 100 children aged between 4
and 17 with tuition and supplementary high
protein food at the Children’s Centre.
Provision made for 3 long term staff to
secure their future through a fixed deposit
which cannot be accessed for 5 years. This
has not been made from donated funds.

Report to the trustees/ Charity Name members of The Vidiyal Trust On accounts for the year 31 December 2024 Charity no 1113691 ended (if any) Set out on pages 1 to 2 (remember to include the page numbers of additional sheets)

Respective The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. responsibilities of The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year trustees and examiner under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Charities Act”) and that an independent examination is needed .

It is my responsibility to:

Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner’s statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
