To support Voluntary Organisations by providing the following services; information, advice, training, mentoring, the recruitment of volunteers, community development services to assist in the development of other voluntary organisations and to develop new voluntary services where appropriate. To promote partnership work between statutory and voluntary organisations.
Objects: 3a. To Promote Any Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Community In The County Of Monmouthshire, The City Of Newport And The County Borough Council Areas Of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly And Torfaen By Assisting The Work Of The Statutory Authorities And Voluntary Organisations Engaged In Advancing Education, Furthering Health, Relieving Poverty, Distress Or Sickness, Improving The Skill Of Country Craftsmen, Or In Pursuing Any Other Charitable Purposes.3b. To Promote And Organise In Co-Operation In The Achievement Of The Said Purposes And To That End To Bring Together In Association Representatives Of The Authorities And Organisations Engaged In The Furtherance Of The Said Purposes Within The County Of Momouthshire, The City Of Newport And The County Borough Council Areas Of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly And Torfaen.
