This is summary of the PTFA’s fundraising activities over the financial year to illustrate how and what we have raised and how this money has benefited the school pupils. The PTFA is a registered charity with the following registrations and trustees, and we hold 3 business bank accounts:

Mae gwirfoddolwyr, sy’n rhieni a ffrindiau’r ysgol, yn rhedeg yr elusen. Mae wedi cofrestru gyda PTA-UK, sy’n gyfluniant ar gyfer cymdeithasau rhieni-athrawon mewn ysgolion. Rydym yn cynnal cyfarfodydd ar zoom ers Covid ac yn estyn croeso mawr i holl rhieni’r ysgol.

5050 lotteri

Maer CRhAFf hefyd yn rhedeg lotteri. Mae pawb yn talu £5 y mis am gyfle i ennill 2 wobr o arian pob 3 mis o 40% a 10% o’r cyfraniadau. Mae’r gweddill 50% yn cael ei roi i’r ysgol. Flwyddyn yma roedd o leiaf 45 o gefnogwyr, gyda mewnbwn o £2865.

Prif Taliadau

Rhoddodd y CRhAFf £19,878 I’r ysgol.. Roedd taliadau am gofrestru a hysbysfwrdd yn peldroed Hanwell (A40) a phrintio. Ac am Cinio Haf roedd inswrans a thaliadau am fwyd a llogi’r neuadd.

How is the charity structured?

The charity is run by volunteers who are parents or friends of the school. It is registered with the PTAUK, an organisation for parent-teacher associations. Since Covid-19 we have been meeting on zoom and extend an invite to all the school’s parents.

5050 lottery

The PTFA also runs a lottery. There are currently at least 45 participants paying £5 a month for the chance to win two cash prizes per quarter amounting to 40% and 10% of the contributions paid during each period. The remaining 50% of contributions will be donated to the school. This financial year the income was £2865

Main expenses

The PTFA have donated £19,878 to school.. There were small costs this year for registrations and advertisements in form of printing and electronic advert on A40 (Hanwell football club). Also for Cinio Haf there were insurance, catering and hall hire costs.

Halibalw

Halibalw

Rhoddwyd £4702 I’r elusen oddiwrth pwyllgor Halibalw, gyda’r gofyniad bydd CRhAFf yn cynnal yr wyl er lles y meithrin a phlant Llundain am y flynyddoedd nesa.

The committee previously organising Halibalw have given £4702 to the ptfa, with the understanding that this money will be used to organise future events for nursery and school children in London. .

The London Welsh School PTFA (Parents, Teacher & Friends Association) whose main purpose is to help raise additional funds and contributions to supplement the educational and cultural work done at the unique bilingual Welsh school located in Hanwell Community Centre, West London.

The PTFA is a registered charity (charity number: 1112353) , it has 3 bank accounts:
