Activities
The Yorkshire and Humber Association of Civic Societies (YHACS) is the distinct voice of the Civic Society Movement in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Our vision is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens in the region by engaging them in not only the protection of heritage, but also the promotion of sustainable development and urban renaissance.
Objects: The Charity's Objects (The Objects) Are: To Promote And Encourage A High Standard Ofarchitecture Building And Town And Country Planning The Preservation Of Beauty Or Amenity In Cities Towns Villages Or The Countryside And Of The Land Buildings And Features Of Beauty Or Historic Interest The Creation Or Improvement Of Features Of Beauty Or Interest In Such Cities Towns Villages Or Countryside And A Sense Of Civic Pride Amongst Members Of The Publicgenerally By The Provision Of Support And Advice To Civic Societies In The Yorkshire And Humber Area.
