relevant about:
The original estimate for the Restoration
of Susan dated 03 August 2010 was
Achievementsagainst Para1.41 £100000. Since then, a change in
objectivesset government legislation resulted in
registered charities being unable to
reclaim the VAT that had been paid. This
increased the cost of restoration by
£30000. Removal of the outside planking
revealed that additional timbers needed
to be replaced. This plus inflation
increased the final estimate to £240000.
The total money raised by 05 April 2021
was £212657.
Performanceoffundraising Fundraising has proved to be more
activities againstobjectives difficult than expected because of the
set Para1.41 recent economic climate of our country.
This year it has been made even more
difficult because of the effects of the
COVID19 pandemic. Many grant giving
trusts are now unable to support heritage
projects because of the increasing needs
for social welfare work.
The Susan Trust has no investments.
