The principal activities of Women Connect First during the year continued to be the education, training for employment and relief from poverty and distress of members of the public from the black and ethnic minority and white communities and helping them to fully integrate within British society, whilst promoting equality and diversity.

Objects: 1. To Advance Education Amongst Women Members Of The Ethnic Minority Communities;2. To Relieve Poverty And Distress Arising From Financial Hardship And/or Physical And/or Mental Suffering Amongst Women Members Of The Ethnic Minority Communities;3. The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit, In Particular But Not Exclusively In Wales, By (i) Developing The Capacity And Skills Of Women Members Of Ethnic Minority Communities In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet Their Needs And Participate More Fully In Society;(ii) Raising Awareness Of The Social And Religious Needs Of Members Of Ethnic Minority Communities.
