Section C Ob"ectives and activities Awaaz {voice of women) Is a women empowemient organisalion where we help and support women of all ages and ethnicty. Our aim is to empower them and enable them to be confident and lead an integrated lrfe where they can have a positive attitude towards life. We work with women who suffer from illnesses, disabilities, isolation, and depression and have been exposed to domestic abuse and domestic violence. We encourage and enable them to be part of the communrty and give positive contnbution. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governlng documènt Awaaz offers free servi5 to all women regardless of age or ethnicity. We provide them a weekly session where they used to come for yoga, exercise, lunch and we offered different activities such as knitting. crochet. floVr arrangement, creative writing and sharing cooking tips and recipes. We give them digital training and have delivered workshops on different topics such as knrfe and gun cnme, healthy eating, online safety elc. Since Covid-19 we are still meeting up and delivering our services online through zoom sessions. We provide one lo one counselling sessions. During the pandemic we have been distributing food vouchers and some household item and toiletries to the needy. We have been lending tablets lo our service users so thal they can keep in touch and attend regularly. We keep a track of our ladies through WhatsApp groups.
