Ob"ectives and activities
Awaaz {voice of women) Is a women empowemient organisalion where
we help and support women of all ages and ethnicty. Our aim is to
empower them and enable them to be confident and lead an integrated
lrfe where they can have a positive attitude towards life. We work with
women who suffer from illnesses, disabilities, isolation, and depression
and have been exposed to domestic abuse and domestic violence.
We encourage and enable them to be part of the communrty and give
positive contnbution.

Awaaz offers free servi￿5 to all women regardless of age or ethnicity.
We provide them a weekly session where they used to come for yoga,
exercise, lunch and we offered different activities such as knitting.
crochet. floV￿r arrangement, creative writing and sharing cooking tips
and recipes.
We give them digital training and have delivered workshops on different
topics such as knrfe and gun cnme, healthy eating, online safety elc.
Since Covid-19 we are still meeting up and delivering our services online
through zoom sessions.
We provide one lo one counselling sessions.
During the pandemic we have been distributing food vouchers and some
household item and toiletries to the needy.
We have been lending tablets lo our service users so thal they can keep
in touch and attend regularly. We keep a track of our ladies through
WhatsApp groups.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity for the year ended 31103122.
Rosponsibiliti•s and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in awordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
{'the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters
examinerfs statement have come to my attention in connection with the examination which
gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect-.
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section
130 of the Charities Act., or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records" or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the fom and contenl of accounts sel out in the
Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any
requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is
not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
