Irregularities, including fraud, are instances of noncompliance with laws and regulation5. We design procedures in line with our responsibilities, outlined above, to detect material rnisstatements in respect of irregulorities, including fraud. The extent to which our procedure5 are capable of detecting irregularitie5, including f raud are set out below. Capability of the audit in deterting irregularities In identifying and assessing risks of material misstatement in respect of irregularities, including f raud and non- compliance with laws and re9ulations, our procedures included the following: Wè ènquirèd of monogèmènt. which includèd obtolnlng and revlèwlng supportlng documèntallon, concèrnlng thè charity's poli¢i¢s ond procèdures rèloling to: Idantifying. evaluoting, and complying with lows and ragulations and whèthèr they were aware of any instan£&s of non-complioncè,. We performed analytical procedures to identify any vnvsual or unexpected relationships that may indicate risks of material misstatement dve to fraud. PayPdGIn9 Fund UK. 2025Annual Reportand Financial StaFernents 30
In addre55ing the risk of fraud through management override of controls, we tested the appropriateness of journal entries and other adjustrnents, a55essed whether the judgements made in making accounting estimates are indicative of a potential bias and tested significant transactions that are unusual or those outside the normal course of business. Because of the inherent limitation5 of an audit, there is a risk that we will not detect all irregularitie5, including those leading to a rnaterial misstatement in the financial 5tatement5 OT non-compliance with regulation. This risk increases the rnore that compliance with a law or regulation is removed from the events and transactions reflected in the financial statements, as we will be less likely to become aware of instances of non-compliance. The risk is also greater regarding irregularities occurring due to fraud rather than error, as fraud involve5 intentional concealment, forgery, collusion, omission or misrepresentation. A fvrther description of our responsibilities is available on the Financial Reporting Council's web51te at: auditors responsibilities. This description forms part of our auditorfs report. Use of our report This report is made 501ely to the choritoble company's members a5 a body, in accordance with Chapter 3 of Part16 of the Companie5 Act 2006.
