Introduction Refle¢tin9 on the global events we have all endured over the past 2 years. l am moved and filled with 9ratitude to God for seeing Genesis Impact through its 25th year of operations. We have seen many Changes and faced different ¢hallenges in various forms but have always been able to meet the needs of others through the support of our generous partners and innovative programs. This past year has been no different. With the global pandemic adding to the challenges of delivering our services in schools, coupled with the disproportionate impact it had on working mothers, Genesis Impact has been fortunate to be an instrument of relief to many families through our hardship support. while it is deeply unpleasant to see this need exist in our communities, l am very proud of the way we have been able to 5UPPOrt families through very difficult time5. The past year has also been a year of transition for us as an organisation. We were able to launch, deliver and graduate our inaugural cohorts in our Acclivity Program, in partnership with MSCI (pg.12). Exposing young talent to the workforce and giving them opportunities to assess their options eaAy is critical to making better choices, especially for demographic groups that lack representation in certain environments. while our work with schools reduced in scope to meet the alted environment, we have formed and continue to grow our relationship with Local Governments (Bexley Brent) while creating opportunities for growth with corporate entities. Looking ahead to next year, l am excited to see how we can continue to develop young leaders by connecting them to their future environments, be it mentors, organi5ations or programs. l am very excited for growth in these areas and would encourage you to contact us if you have opportunities to partner with us through your organi5ation or business. Babafemi Taiwo Chair of the Board of Trustees, Genesis Impact
Our Story So Far Our Mission Since the inception ol Genesis Impact, we have connected with more than 5000 families. Additionally, we have demonstrated our commitment to equipping individuals to contribute to their communities and make a positive difference in society. what sets us apart is that four ol our trustees, including our chairman, were once beneficiaries of our Sparklers Youth club two decades ago. Today, they are giving back to the communities that have greatly influenced their lives, creating an even greater impact TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITIES SO ALL INDIVIDUALS CAN FULFIL THEIR FULL POTENTIAL Where WE started Genesis Impact was founded in 1997, as a christian outreach service to the local community of children and youth through Life Application lessons, creative arts and sports. It has been a period of real growth, and evolution where young people have positively taken part in various activities and workshops such as skills development, sports, exploration of contemporary issues, drama, concerts and presentations at civic and community events. We have worked in partnership with agencies such as Social Services, Greenwich Council, Greenwich play Association, Trust Thamesmead and ofsted. In 2006, Genesis Impact started working in local schools in Royal Borough of Greenwich and Bexley supporting them in exploring moral, and cultural values, taking part assemblies, running intervention programmes with small groups of pupils and empowering parents referred by the schools as needing support to manage their children's behaviour. We continue to Sl9npost parents who need intensive support to expert agencies. Our CEO, Foluke Akingbolagun, serves as a governor in one ol these schools. This enables US to remain updated with the standards of excellence required in the schooling system and support our schools in achieving their goals.

The Acclivity Programme The Acclivity Programme is a Youth Mentoring Programme that is tar9eted towards Post 16 students from Black and Asian backgrounds. The programme is focused on self- development, providing mentees with the hard-gained soft skills that are not offered within the realms of formal education but are necessary for them to fulfil their latent potential. The programme is designed to prepare high achieving Black and Asian youth mentally, professionally and culturally for "life at the top. Upskilling students to increase work readiness is achieved by partnering students with mentors from MSCI. Throughout the programme students engage with mentors and buddies to work through 7 Steps, About me, Goal Setting, Building my Super Power, My skills, My Knowledge, My Time and My Relationships. In partnership with MSCI and three schools (Woolwich Poly, Bexley Grammar School, and whitgift School), we collaborated to help students strengthen their understanding of their future goals and the path to achieve them through the support of MSCI buddies and Mentors.

From there my love for dress making was birthed. I began to make dresses for my friends and fornily. From attending these courses, I started to volunteer my free time. I would help with sorting out christmas hampers for the lamilies in need.
