Charitable Objectives The aim and objectives of the Charity are to a(fvance the education of the pupils in the School, in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which suprx)rt the school and advances the educatson of the pupils. Our overall aim is to raise much needed funds for our school. Due to cuts in budgets. our school is under immense pressure to be able to provide our children with the basics. So we aim to provide the children at the school with the resources to enhance, enrich and improve the children's experience dLJring their time at St Georges Primary Sch(K)l. Flnancial Review The Charity Remains in a strong financial posttion. Over the course of this time period our work focused on two main fundraising events. the Summer Fair and the Christmas Fair.

The Summer Fair was held on July 1st 2022. It was a huge Suc￿sS and was very well attended and supported by parents. teachers and local families. It was a great opportunty for us to hold a communty. family friendly event. The Summer Fayre raised an income of £12,765 wtth £6.800 profiL The Christmas Fair vms also very well supported. and was a wonderful day of fundraising and community fun. Both of the fairs were supported by IoGal business in the form of the don*ion of prizes and gifts. and also via Sponsorship and Advertising. The Annual Accounts show our totsl income for 2022 was £32,015, with a profit of £19,862. The Bank Balance at the end of the titne period was £17.538. with £2.004 in the Reserve Account. Reserves and Reserves Policy Durirsg the financial year, the cash reserve accounts have been monitored to ensure that at any given time sufficient funds are available to manage the day-lo-day cash flow and to cover unanticipated expenditu￿$. In addition. we have a Reserve Account which we aim to keep at a balance of £2.000. Charltsble Activities In addition to the Summer and Christmas Fairs, throughout the year we held a variety of other smaller fundraising events. These included My Child's Art fijndraising which made £659 profft. We also organised an Eastèr Egg Hunt which made £421 profit. and a Smarties Challenge which made £954 profit. Achlevemerrts & Performance The St Georges Sch(K)l Association had a fantastic year of fundraising which will help to enrich the lives of the children at the 5ch(K)l. We are working towards funding a new school library, which is a much needed resource for the $ch(K￿.
