The Charity is constitued under Rules adopted on 29th March 2005 and registered with the Charity Commission on the same date - number 1109397.

Charity Objects

The relief of sickness and the preservation of health of persons residing permanently or temporarily in Hayling Island and the surrounding area, hereinafter know as the area of benefit, not without prejudice to the generality of teh foregoing by responding to cardiio-vascular emergencies as directed by and appropriate ambulance service.

Trustees Responsibilities

Under the Charities Act 1993 The trustees are responsible for preparing the report and accounts in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity at the end of the year and of its incoming resources and appl;ication of resources in the year. In preparing the accounts, the Trustees are required to:

The trustees are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the accounts comply with the regulations under section 42(1) of the Charities Act 1993. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

Accountants' report to the directors of Hayling Island First Responders

You consider that the company is exempt from an audit for the year ended 31 March 2024. You have acknowledged, on the balance sheet, your responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. These responsibilities include preparing accounts that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company at the end of the financial year and of its profit or loss for the financial year.

In accordance with your instructions, we have prepared the accounts which comprise the Profit and Loss Account and the Balance Sheet from the accounting records of the company and on the basis of information and explanations you have given to us.

We have not carried out an audit or any other review, and consequently we do not express any opinion on these accounts.
