To promote for the public benefit, equality and diversity in the United Kingdom and worldwide, and in particular, the elimination of caste discrimination on the grounds of caste and analagous systems of inherited status such as that suffered by the Dalit people (previously known as 'Outcasts' or 'Untouchables')

Objects: The Charity’s Objects (The Objects) Are To Promote Equality, Diversity And Human Rights (As Set Out In The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights And Subsequent United Nations Conventions And Declarations) In The United Kingdom And Elsewhere, And In Particular The Elimination Of Discrimination On The Grounds Of Caste And Analogous Systems Of Inherited Status Such As That Suffered By The Dalit People In India And South Asia (Previously Known As The ‘Outcasts’ Or ‘Untouchables’) For The Benefit Of The Public By:2.1 Raising Awareness Of All Aspects Of Discrimination, Exclusion And Abuse Of Human Rights In Society, In Particular On The Grounds Of Caste, And Advancing Education In Equality, Diversity And Human Rights; 2.2 Monitoring Abuses Of Human Rights, In Particular On The Grounds Of Caste;2.3 Eliminating Infringements Of Human Rights, In Particular On The Grounds Of Caste;2.4 Obtaining Redress For The Victims Of Discrimination And Human Rights Abuse On The Grounds Of Caste;2.5 Relieving Poverty And Need Among The Victims Of Discrimination And Human Rights Abuse On The Grounds Of Caste;2.6 Conducting Or Commissioning Research On Equality, Diversity And Human Rights Issues And Publishing The Results To The Public;2.7 Commenting On Proposed Legislation And Providing Technical Advice And Analysis To Governments And Others On Equality And Human Rights Matters, In Particular In Relation To Discrimination On The Grounds Of Caste And Analogous Systems; 2.8 Contributing To The Sound Administration Of Equality, Anti-Discrimination And Human Rights Law;2.9 Promoting The International Advocacy Of Equality, Anti-Discrimination And Human Rights Law;2.10 Promoting Respect For Equality, Diversity And Human Rights.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power To Engage In Political Activity Provided That They Are Satisfied That The Proposed Activities Will Further The Purposes Of The Charity To An Extent Justified By The Resources Committed And The Activity Is Not The Dominant Means By Which The Charity Carries Out Its Objects.
