Two pandemic lockdowns were tough enough but 2021 was filled week after week wrth compl￿tIOnS and more need, very litue tsme of respite, seeking ways of accesyng bulk forjj orders whth berame increasingty rnre difficult which meant time onsuming attempts to purchase smatter amounts of similar prcrfluets from multiple slore's rather tttan placing orders Y•ith 2 or 3. The one thing we were not short of was the generous monetary donal¥)ns of 100's of people of all ages, from children to adults, groups and indNiduals. These grfts enable FIND to purchase ambienl foods along with fresh veg and trui( meats, fish and dairy pr(KJucts. ensvnng the continUat￿n of prov¢ding the ever increasiThJ numbers of people in need wilh good focmj par￿. {Be¢ause of personal reasons in 2022 1 have not abEe to rAJllate the st* for 2021 as yet but plan to do so very S(￿). Report Provision of the usual Christmas Hampers and Gifts was. for a 3rd year not an easy task but with the support of RRT UK, 500 h'ampers aNived in b.me for us to distribute along wilh the 100 hampers made up by Scrutton Bland at their office base. Aong with hampers went our regular food parcels, grfl vouchers for both food and toy stores and a quantr.ty of grfl wrapped presents. Nothing happens without the blllliant teanmiork of close to 100 volunteers, amazing people who give so much of Ihemsefves lo enable FIND to care for those in need. All my volunteers are deserving of an award - what they get is my thanks. We wekomed 2 new Tnjstees. Nicola and Daren. arml it didn't take lon9 for them to find a nthe where their expertise (x)ukl be put to use. FIND ts blessed to be govemed by a team of gc*>J ¥tho all share the same aim - that of care for others. N¢)w in its 32nd year.
