Treasurer’s Report

Total income from events and donations amounted to £44970.17. Expenses amounted to £4579.07 leaving an effective net to contribute to school activities of £12403.06. Of this net contribution £250 has been paid to the school food bank (from ring fenced donations).

Income

This year the PTA focus has been on raising money for the outdoor classroom. Of the total income for the year, £30528.76 was raised specifically for this project, leaving £14441.41 for school contributions.

As can be seen from the charts below, we received a large amount in grants and donations for the outdoor classroom, totalling £13500.

We also raised £8213.64 on JustGiving.

We hosted a number of successful events in conjunction with Pop Up Pub, including food offerings, quiz nights and the Euros final, raising a total of £5049.87.

We hosted a 90s disco and a T for Tackley disco, raising £696.53 and £919.74 respectively.

The Horse Show donated £600 and an additional £2500 towards the outdoor classroom.

We had a donations of £480 and an anonymous (Christian Stewardship) donation of £2720 (including a donation towards the classroom).

Oxford Eden’s Christmas tree sales and the Church Christmas Fair raised £259.10 in total, and the Christmas performance refreshments and raffle raised £554.81. A Christmas jumper swap raised £92.45.

Easy Fundraising and Bags to Schools raised £1349.27 and £454.00 respectively. My Child’s Art and Toner Recycling raised £139.49 and £30 respectively.

Jacket potato night raised £577.26 and non-uniform days and break the rules day raised £234.75. A coffee morning and cake sale raised £686.68.

The fete raised 1805.46 with more to come in next year’s accounts. The Summer performances raised £672.77.

The closing balance of £2360.84 from FOWS was transferred us.

Income totalling £44970.17

Expenditure

In terms of contributions to school activities, the main expenditure went towards swimming lessons and Christmas Panto trips, and class funding relation to the previous academic year. We had a lot of expenses this year due to the large amount fundraising events for the outdoor classroom.

Donations to school activities totalling £12403.06, including £250 for the foodbank, and expenses of £4579.07

Note that expenses include those for running events and also miscellaneous costs like bank charges, PTA association membership etc..

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Chartties Act 2011 ("the Act"). Responsibilities and basis of report I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
