This Charity was set up to benefit animals in need .By doing so it also benefits mankind. Hectorsgate is a permanent home for 3 horses, 3 ponies, 14 Shetlands . 35 exbattery hens, 5 dogs, 16 cats, 2 gpigs, 3 rabbits, 2 sheep and 2 ferrets. Daily activity is as expected for good animal husbandry. This year's projects included refurbishing the wooden stabling and removing dangerous dead trees for safety. |

Para 1.20 | The main achievements of the Charity has been to save many animals from death by taking them under its wing. These animals were not rehomeable with the General Public due to the mental and physical trauma they had suffered with previous keepers. They are safe from harm and happy at the Sanctuary, living with no fear and make new friends within their animal groups. Hectorsgate does not rehome the animals. The animals are given home for life with the correct nutrition, foot and dental care, shelter from the weather and companionship of their own kind. Our supporters on Facebook get updates on the animals and see how they progress In confidence and condition from their arrival going forwards. We also promote microchipping /spaying |
