NWC is run by women, for women. It's a women-only space where women achieve amazing things. We offer:Courses and activities like maths, yoga, healthy relationships and archeryAdvice on welfare benefitsCounselling Help to get into workVolunteeringSelf-help groups around mental healthWe also campaign on issues that matter to women and support other women's organisations.
Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Woman Of Nottinghamshire (hereinafter Called 'the Area Of Benefit') Without Distinction Of Race, Political, Religious, Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And In A Common Effort To Advance Education And Training And To Provide Services For Women By Women In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Persons;to Establish Or To Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre (hereinafter Called 'the Centre') And To Maintain And Manage, And As Appropriate To Work In Association With Any Local Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity And Its Constituent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.the Charity Shall Be Non-Party In Politics And Non-Sectarian In Religion And Non-Discriminatory Of Age, Aids/hiv Status, Being Bisexual, Body Size, Class, Nationality, Religion And Political Beliefs. Lesbian, Mental Health, Being Parents Or Carers, Race, Nationality, Religion And Political Beliefs.the Charity Shall Have Power To Affiliate To The National Federation Of Community Organisations And To Other Organisations With Similar Charitable Objects.
