Activities

We are a small association of volunteers set up to support the residents of two residential homes for adults with learning difficulties, Strathmore and Highcross, and their associated independent houses. Our major objective is improving the quality of life of the residents. We do this by supporting activities in the fields of the arts, sport and health/fitness as well as general social events.

Objects: 1) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or The Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Service Users Of Strathmore House, Highcross House And Their Associated Independent Houses Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Disability, With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life;2) The Relief Of Parents, Guardians And Carers Of People With Learning Disabilities Resident At Strathmore House, Highcross House And Their Associated Independent Houses By The Provision Of Advice, Support And Information
