The charity acts as the main body providing funding and associated governance to enable the responder volunteers to have adequate resource. (Uniform, Vehicle and Equipment available to respond to 999 WMAS calls for the local community, usually within an 8 mile radius of the responders home location) The responders are trained and qualified under the WMAS criteria and are subject to WMAS governance and procedures whilst responding.
