WE PROVIDE A SAFE STIMULATING PLAY ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE AGED FROM 5 - 18 YR OLDS.WE OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF INDOOR & OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES, SUCH AS VARIOUS ARTS & CRAFTS, IT AND ASSORTED PLAY STRUCTURES SUCH AS A SPIDER WEB, ADVENTURE TRAIL, SWINGS, ALL WEATHER BALL COURT.WE ALSO HAVE A DEDICATED ADDITIONAL NEEDS WORKER.

Objects: (1)the Provision Of Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation For Children Resident In The Northfields, Humberstone And Srb6 Catchment Areas Being Facilities:(i) Of Which Such Children Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth Or Social And Economic Circumstances; And(ii) Which Will Improve The Conditions Of Life For Such Children By Promoting Their Physical Mental And Spiritual Well Being.(2) In Furtherance Of The Object Of The Association Of The Board Will:-(i) Provide, Maintain And Equip A Playground And Building, Affording Opportunities For Adventure And Enterprise. (the Playbarn On Gipsy Lane)(ii) Assist Provision, Maintenance And Equipment Of The Playbarn, As Aforesaid, And Raise Money For These Purposes;(iii) Develop The Grounds Of The Plabarn, For The Above Purposes, Using The Site In An Environmentally Sensitive Manner To Create A Positive Play Environment From The Old Landfill Site.(iv) Employ Staff To Assist The Association In Managing The Play Areas Established(3) To Give The Community A Direct Voice On The Running Of The Playground And Children's Activities.(4) To Encourage A Greater Understanding And Appreciation Of Young People And To Foster Interest And Active Participation In The Use Of The Playgroup And Children's Activities(5) To Survey The Needs Of Children And Young People With A View To Encouraging Or Sponsoring The Creation Of A Wide Range Of Activities And Facilities.(6) To Do All Such Things As Are Incidental Or Conducive To The Attainment Of These Objects
