  1. Accounts : the financial year began with £103,431 in the Trust’s RBS bank account 10110936 as at 1 April 2024. Following donations and interest, the year closed on 31 March 2025 with £357,745 in the Trust’s RBS bank account. The accounts of the Trust for 2024-2025 (see below) have been audited and signed off by the auditor (see below).

  2. Annual Return for 2023-2024: this will be filed with the Charity Commissioners.

  3. Applications to the Trust: there were no applications for grants in the year 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024.

Activities of the Trust since 31 March 2025:

  1. Latest news on funds : Following recent donations and interest (since 31 March 2025) , as of 14 July 2025 there is now £360,370.82 in the Trust’s RBS bank account 10110936. The restricted “Spire Fund” has a fund balance of £350,700.86, with £9606.96 in the Unrestricted Fund.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner. As the Charitys trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts; you consider that the audit requirement of section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act) d￿S not apply. It is my responsibility to stste, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions given by the Charty Commissioners under section 4317) (b) of the Act, whether part￿lar matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examinetrs reporL' My examination was carried out in accordan￿ wrth the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examinats'on indudes a review of the ac(x)unting records kept by the Charity and a (x)mparison of the accounts presented wrth those records.
