**ST PETER AND ST PAUL’S CHURCH HANBOROUGH BUILDING TRUST Charity Number: 1102615** ## Annual Report on 2024-2025 of the St Peter and St Paul’s Church Hanborough Building Trust ## AGM Minutes 17 September 2025 **Present** : Rev Dr Steve Stewart (chair), Mrs Wendy Bayliss, Prof Sarah Harper CBE, Mr Richard Wilkins, Dr Nicholas Wood **Apologies** : none 1. **Accounts** : the financial year began with £103,431 in the Trust’s RBS bank account 10110936 as at 1 April 2024. Following donations and interest, the year closed on 31 March 2025 with £357,745 in the Trust’s RBS bank account. The accounts of the Trust for 2024-2025 (see below) have been audited and signed off by the auditor (see below). 2. **Annual Return for 2023-2024:** this will be filed with the Charity Commissioners. 3. **Applications to the Trust:** there were no applications for grants in the year 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. ## **Activities of the Trust since 31 March 2025:** 4. **Latest news on funds** : Following recent donations and interest (since 31 March 2025) , as of 14 July 2025 there is now £360,370.82 in the Trust’s RBS bank account 10110936. The restricted “Spire Fund” has a fund balance of £350,700.86, with £9606.96 in the Unrestricted Fund. ## 5. **Appointment of New Trustees** : - a. The following new trustees were proposed by Rev Dr Steve Stewart, seconded by Mr Richard Wilkins and duly elected: Mrs Wendy Suzanne Bayliss, Prof Sarah Helen Harper CBE, and Dr Nicholas John Wood. - b. For each newly appointed trustee, a “Deed of Appointment and Removal of Trustees”, a “Trustee Resolution”, and a “Trustee Consent and Declaration” were approved and signed by the chair and the new trustee. - c. The Trust’s Register of Trustees has been duly updated. ## 6. **Applications to the Trust** : - a. The Trust considered the following applications for grants from Hanborough PCC: - b. An invoice from Ingleton Wood (No. 7001356/JL dated 10/7/2025) relating to the rebuilding of the St Peter and St Paul Spire for £720. Approved unanimously. - c. An invoice from Ingleton Wood (No. 7001396/JL dated 31/7/2025) relating to the rebuilding of the St Peter and St Paul Spire for £450.
