Activities
We provides educational opportunities for southern Africa through scholarships and community-based projects, building the skills and leadership required to facilitate development in the region, and using our networks to enable development practitioners from all over the region to share their knowledge. We aim in particular to improve access to education for disadvantaged groups.
Objects: A) The Advancement Of Education For The Benefit Of The Public And In Particular The Advancement Of Education Of The People Of Southern Africa With A Particular Emphasis On South Africa;b) To Provide For The Relief Of Poverty By The Provision Of Funds For Legal Services For Poor Persons In Countries Outside The United Kingdom And With A Particular Emphasis On Southern Africa;c) To Promote Research Into The Law And Procedure Of Foreign Legal Systems As They Affect Poor Persons And To Publish The Results Of Such Research With A Particular Emphasis On Southern Africa;d) Such Other General Objects As Are Charitable By Law.
