Activities
The North East Trust for Aphasia supports people in the North East who have aphasia. Aphasia is a communication problem, often following stroke, which can affect an adult's ability to speak, read, write and understand other people. It can have devastating effects on peoples' lifes. NETA has set up a Support Centre for people with aphasia which offers support via communication and project groups.
Objects: The Relief Of Persons With Aphasia/dysphasia And Their Families And Carers By The Provision Of Such Charitable Support As The Trustees Think Fit, Including The Provision Of Therapy, Support And Information.
