Para 1.17 | The Friends of Goldsworth Primary School is a member of PTA UK. The Friends hold regular commitee meetngs, mostly half-termly and at least once a term. Meetngs are atended by parents and, normally, by at least one member of the teaching staf. Sub-commitees are formed to organise specifc events, reportng back to the main commitee. All trustees give their tme voluntary and received no remuneraton or other benefts. |

Developing efectve relatonships between the staf, parents and others associated with the school. Engaging in actvites or providing facilites or equipment which support the school and advance the educaton of the pupils. The Friends runs a series of established social and fund-raising events throughout the year for the beneft of the parents and pupils of the school. Events include a Diwali freworks night and summer fayre, school discos, tuck shops, no-adults gif shops, uniform sales, rafes and silent auctons. As well as achieving our aims of providing facilites and equipment through fund-raising, these events enhance the development of staf, parent and pupil relatonships. The Friends, where possible, also provide refreshments and assistance at school organised events. The Friends contribute to school Christmas and Year 6 leaving celebratons. |

Para 1.20 | Friends of Goldsworth can look back on another hugely successful year of events enjoyed by our community! Over 2023/4 we organised a Diwali Fireworks Festval, School Discos, termly Tuck Shop, Uniform Sales, the Summer Fayre, Freeze Pop Fridays, No-Adults gif shops, a special Euro Football Competton, a Christmas Santa Run…all through the hard work of volunteers. Together we raised an amazing amount of funds. This has made a huge diference to all the Goldsworth children and over the year the Friends of Goldsworth has provided… Forest school fencing and equipment £3,130 Guided reading books, reading corner and book club £2,551 £50/class £700 Leavers T-shirts £540 Xmas £533 Workshops £250 |

Responsibilities and basis of report
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 August 2024.
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
