TheThe Objectsdocumentof the governingTrust as a charity was registered with the charity commissions in October 2003 under the registration number 1100268. The objects of the charity briefly is to advance the Hindu religion, advance education to the public in Hindu Saiva Culture, to provide recreational facilities and relief poverty. The trustees:

Activities
Temple Activities: We celebrate all the festival in accordance with the Hindu Calender.The new year festival was well attended. About 120 devotees congregated just before 12.00 o clock to see the new year pooja on the 4st January 2010. The biggest festival the chariot festival saw the number of devotees increased this year from 1,200 devotees to 2,200 devotees.
The temple is opened from 9am to 2 pm.it is then opened from 6pm to § pm daily.On Fridays it closes at 10pm
VariousClassesIndian music classes are held and various experienced teacher are teaching Indian Musical Instruments. The classes takes place on Wednesday evenings and Saturday Mornings. In August 2008 we found a teacher who is giving free yoga classes.
Finance
The trustees are looking into various ways to increase the income by having various fund raisings.

Independent examiner's report to the trustees of Sree Thiruthanigai Murugan Temple
| report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Sree Sree Thiruthanigai Murugan Temple for the year endede 31st August 2023.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the Trustees of the Charity are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act). | report in respect of my examination of the Charity's financial accounts carried out under s. 145 of the 2011 Act. In carrying out my examination | have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under under s. 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act.
Independent examiner’s statement
| draw the attention that the charity has prepared financial statements in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities prepareing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicale in the UK and Republic Of Ireland (FRS 102).
| have completed my examination. | confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: (1) accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or (2) the accounts do not accord with those records; or
(3) the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
