Objectives and Activities
The Trustees of Grapevine Project Charity present their annual report and audited accounts for the year ended 30 09 2023 and confirm they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011.
| Summary of the purposes of the | Grapevine Wellbeing Centre is an independent charity supporting adults within our community to improve and maintain their own mental health. We do this through bringing people together, promoting creativity and embracing the natural environment as tools to move people forward. |

The charity has been open as a safe place and drop-in centre for anyone who feels their wellbeing is not where they want it to be and would like support. Throughout the year the charity has also offered activity groups, days out and one to one support. |
| Contribution made by volunteers | We had 5 active volunteers, 3 of which support our paid staff during drop-ins. These volunteers allow staff members to better support our members by freeing them to offer one-to-one meetings and helping to facilitate smaller conversations with our less confident members. One of our volunteers accompanies us on trips outside of the Grapevine, such as our monthly bus trips to build our members confidence on public transport or our wellbeing walks with the Peak District National Park Rangers The 5th volunteer supports the charity by carrying our maintenance at the Centre, saving the charity a lot of money. |

Achievements and Performance

In total over the year, the charity has held 597 activities. The total number of attendances at the drop-ins, activities, groups and on day trips was 3933. We were successful in a variety of smaller bids and as a result, were able to hold some specific workshops including a ‘Slow Cooker’ workshop to help combat the cost-of-living crisis. The charity turned 20 years old on the 30thof September 2023. Which was celebrated with several different activities in 2023. Including an opportunity for our members to tell us their first memories of the charity. “A very friendly environment, extremely welcoming atmosphere” “My first memory of Grapevine was when I first walked in, being welcomed by staff and finding everyone very friendly.” “Meeting some friendly folk who wanted to support us through our mental health without judgment.” |
