Activities
East Bergholt Heartwatch is a group of Community First Responders whose aim is to provide 24 hour emergency coverage within the communities of East Bergholt, Brantham and Holton St. Mary in Suffolk. Volunteers are trained in the use of portable Automated External Defibrillation equipment to attend medical emergencies in the community. The Group has provided wall-mounted AEDs within the community.
Objects: To Further The Health And Well-Being Of Residents, And Persons Associated With, The Village Of East Bergholt In Suffolk, In Particular:-(A) The Relief Of Sickness Of Persons Residing In East Bergholt And The Surrounding Area, Hereinafter Referred To As The Area Of Benefit, In Particular But Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing, By Responding To Cardio-Vascular Emergencies.(b) The Advancement Of Education Of The Public By Organising Seminars And Workshops On Health And Medical Issues.(c) The Relief Of Sickness And Distress By The Provision Of Wheelchairs And Other Medical Equipment.
