In Juty the funeral of a previous church wEmber was hekj at Endtesham Hall. The venue was full of people sharing love, sadness 8nd joy as we all remembered this wonderful woman. This began a run of very special events as member5 of the Mauritian comnwnity who had wotshipped with or grown up in BCC chose to come back to celebrate Signifi￿nt rrilestones. In November it was an 80th birttmlay party In January. an infant dedicalion. In February. a 1st party. In April. a baptism of 3 young aduhs. Finally. one of our young men who is a professional aLJr. initiated a gathering of creab.ves to explore faith and spirituality in an indusive space. This went very well and ill continue in the comiNJ year. In April. we began a regular gathering for prayer to support a methr of our commuThty who is facing signifficant heabth Ghallenges. Main achievements of the Company Regarding the Endlesham Hall Redeve[oF￿enl. conlinue to work closety with the GLA who have made significant grants for the so(ial housing aspect of the planned new bUll￿1ng. We are excited about this Creative Community Living project. We have several funding aprdicalions in Frfocess including to: Garfield Weston, subnj'tted exprewon of interest the end of 2024 arml now working on the grant application. The Laing Fanrrity Trust, sent end ofJanuary 2025 The Sistets of the Love of God Charitable Tnjst grant apph.&￿1On in process. n January we hekj a New Endle5ham Hall Vtsion Launch which included input from people who had been encouraged and supported by the charity in the past. This included an interview with Deepak RaVIr￿r0n, the founder of Oddbox. The evening was well supported and significanl for networking. The NEH team continue to meet regutarty. The tsJil(ling continues to be a challenge. Major work needed to be done fr)llowng a gas leak and the patching up of a roof leak and a water tank leak. Financially. we are able to fijndion and maintain the tAmkJing adequately with our faithful supporters and users. New users are arrivirwJ but we are aware that somè enquirers are reluctant to stsrt wrth the uncertainty regarding the building closing arKI being demolished. We continue to look for further financial support for the charity itselr. De5prle the challenges. we have had a great year. seeing so mary people using, valuing and enjoying the Hall. There is a ￿fe and energy that seems unhindered by the ffirnitab.ons of Ihe buikling and that gives us enormous satisfaction. Page 4
