Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | Every day we receive emails and phone calls from people in need of help with animals in distress. We offer advice, physical support and financial support where applicable. This year has been very demanding. The fall out after Covid has resulted in very many animals being given up by their owners for a number of reasons. There has been an unprecedented call for help putting a huge strain on all animal welfare charities throughout the UK. People have been hugely grateful for the support we have given, in some case making the difference between losing their companion animal or being able to keep it. People reaching out for help with animals in need are, caring and distressed . We have been able to alleviate that stress and help them to feel supported. |
