Thi% was called, atthe ts"me, the Village Hdl Gallery and has proved to be a very successful project and 8n pOrtant addition to the f8ulities provided by thÉ Twst10 the lo¢d community. The wrpose ofthe Gallery is to wcouragÉ individual art151s, art groups and s¢hools t¢ makeuse of the Galleryfor exhibitlons ai nominal cost. 11 impoytant lo record Ih8t Ihe Idea ofthe Gallery, in space it ¢iccupie5, was conceived by Norman PL8stow, our past Chairman, a number of years ago.
