Structure, Govemance and Management Description of Chari The charity is controlled by its constitution adopted on III1112CQ2 Amended 1810612CK)7 Amended 2010612012 LRFC is an unincorporated association Trustees are elected by Club Members LRFC is affiliated with The FA together with Middlesex County FA and Harrow Youth Football League. Teams are entered for Cup competttions wth Middiesex Counry and Surrey FA. All volunteers are DBS checked and have cornpleted Safeguarding training. LRFC is run on a voluntary basis only. there are no paid staff members. Objectives of the Charity The ChartVs objertives are the promotion of community participation is healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of opportunities and facilities for the playing principally, but not exclusively. of association football and other activities that promote Social cohesion and community wellbeing. TREASURER'S REPORT Due to the Covid 19 pandemic the Club has faced UnrtaIn times financialty. Fortunately, we were eligible to receive some Govemment grants to help wlth the upkeep of the Club and were s0 able to appty for grants to help cover sotne of the u>sts to make the Club Covid safe when we were allowed to operate on a limtted bas"Js. This did idenlify Ihe need for MembeIp lo be paid in a more regular, timely way and changes will be implemented lor the 2(Y21J22 season to he wth this. The preferred methods of payment will be direcltytothe Club bank aixount Iwhth was su¢¢essfully Irialled during the 2020121 season} aLso by card payment at the Club and, ere neither of these two methods are possible, by cash. As in previous years we actwety sougm grants from other sources, for example the Football Foundation. This helps wrth the upkeep ol the prf(ches, puithasing new equipment. for exampte the new goals, atso money lo help wilh making the Club Covid safe. A good way for the Club to rai%e additial funds is through Gift Aid. Gift Atd is a scheme available to chaTtties and Communty Amateur Sports Clubs ICASCSI. M means we can claim extra money from HMRC. The charrly or CASC can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you pay to the Club. We are chasing outstandmg am0 from last season and wll be taktng a hard line this yearlo ensure that everyone pays their full membership. Achievements and performance A Wildcats Centre was set up at the Club for Fll-year-old girls to participate in football, make friends and have fun and continues at the Club. A Young Players Academy has been formed to encoura8e younger children into football. A grant was applied for and approved for a 6-year grass pitch maintenance programme. The total amount of the grant over the temi is £36.036 from the Football Foundation and an additional sum of £18,018 is to be paid by the Club. Programme continues to target dates and milestones. Finanaal Review Reser policy: The Club holds a separate Bank account (AGP sinking fund) for the refurbishment of the artificial football pitch, The AGP sinking fund is a contractual commttment where by LRFC must deposit £6k per annum over 10 years to refresh the artificial pitch SoUrs of Fundin8: The Club is funded by Membership paymen When available. grants are sourced to help with the upkeep of all playing surfaces. Funds are a150 raised by holdin8 tournaments at LRFC. Due to Covid-19 the Club vrds awarded Government grants to help it throughout shutdown periods. Also. grants were applied for and granted by the Football Foundation for the purchase of additional materials to make the Club Covid Safe. also a grant was reiVed to help with the costs to restart football training. Due to the Covid-19 additional costs were incurred to ensure the Club was made as safe as possible for all. The Club followed all Government and FA guidelines relating to this. A grant was awarded by the Football Foundation to help with these costs.
