enrich the education of the pupils in the school.

activities in relation to those
purposes for the public
benefit, in particular, the
activities, projects or
services identified in the
accounts.
Para 1.17 and
1.19
In particular, activities are designed to:

develop effective and meaningful
relationships between staff, parents and
others associated with the school.

Engage in activities and provide facilities or
equipment which support the schools
ethos and advance the education of the
pupils.
Sarisbury Junior School PFA have run a wide range
of academic and social opportunities for the people,
parents, staff, governors and wider school
community. These include regular events such as
bake sales, summer fayre, raffles and refreshments.
Plus movie nights and discos for the Junior School
pupils enjoyment.
All activities are planned by the committee and
draw on volunteers from the parent community as
well as staff where appropriate. The committee is
very grateful for the time, expertise and donations
given by all involved with whom Sarisbury Junior
school PFA would not be able to achieve so much.

had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity

Para 1.18 We can confirm that the trustees have regard to the
guidance issued by the Charity Commission on
public benefit. The committee takes considerable
time and effort to consider its actions and to
evaluate whether the money is being spent wisely,
and to benefit the most children. For larger items

Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 The work of the PFA enabled the advancement and
enrichment of pupils education by giving money to
the school for the purchase of equipment,
resources, facilities and other wish list items it
would otherwise not be able to afford. This not only
enhances pupils educational experience but also
improves their learning by subsidising events such
as the year six trip to Paultons park.
This year our biggest fundraisers were undoubtably
the Christmas laser light show, summer fayre &
music festival raising a combined total of £22,800
and making an amazing profit of 51%. The PFA also
held our usual & much loved gift rooms, bake sales,
sports day, year 6 production & quiz night, raising a
combined amount of £11,500. All in all, another
wonderfully successful year of fundraising with a
total income of £34,300 with a 54% profit.

Additional information (optional) You may choose to include further statements where relevant about:

Achievements against
objectives set

reading dragon commissioned & it was
installed/opened for the children to use at the end
of June 2025. It has been incredibly popular & is a
wonderful place for the children to enjoy. We are
proud to have funded this for the school, at a cost
of £14,500. We have also raised money to fund Year
6 Coaches to Paultons Park costing £2,200,
swimming lesson contributions of £4,500 & a
conservation pond area at the back of the playing
fields for £1160 & beanbags for the reading dragon
to make it comfortable atjust over £100.

activities are planned by the committee and draw
on volunteers from the parent community as well as
