A net income of £4,376.20 was generated for the year ended September 2023, thi5 was a 179% inCaSe from prior year post COVID-19. Revenuellncome for the year was £54,233.16. a 203% increase and the highest level since the inception of the charity. This driven by the fantsstic fundraising activities such as the Glamour ball which generated a net Income of £18.114.57 Ibelng the highest contributor) and many other artlvlties. Based on the success of the fundraising campardn5. we were able to give by to the school by supportin8 in a few projects, the bi88est bein8 the construction of the"Learning pod.. As at year end all flnandal commltments to the school had been fvlfilled. DurSn8 the year. we were able to introduce a new expense wllcy document along with an expense claim form to ensure all committee member We fulty reimbursed for expenses incurred on behalf of the charity as well as proving se8re8atlon of duties in payments approvals. Two det cards were obtsined from the bank to ease the burden on the use of personal funds awaitln8 relmbursement In other to improve the shoppin8 experience for the parents during fundraising actlvlties such as 'Highfest'or Bonflre nl8ht, 5 new SunFup cash machlnes were purchased. and an online ticket orderlng system was set up and linked the Sum-up account. This has thebY dUCed the need to hold physical cash and chan8e withln the school. We were unable to proceed with the recovery of the restrfcted fund in the old Barclays account. See Note 7 for further detalls. The TENS and Gambling licences are up to date and being managed by the secretary. Based on the Charities Commission 8uidelines, all revenue al)ove E25.(LK) would require an external examiner to review the account.
