Over the year, the number of members grew by 20%,
rising from 657 at the start of the year to 794 at 31"

60
interest
groups
provided
opportunities
for
learning
and
personal
development
in
a = spirit
of
enjoyment and friendship. Groups were able to welcome
new members and it was pleasing to see five new groups
being established to widen the activities on offer through
Pickleball, Drama, Dog Walking and Playing with Fabric.
The outings programme was re-introduced with three
outings to places of interest proving fo be very popular
with members. These outings were open to all members
and were in addition to the outings arranged by particular
interest groups.
Six Open Meetings with guest speakers were held. The
Christmas Concert was an opportunity for members to get
together and for members of the musical groups to both
entertainandshowcasetheirtalents.
