The charity provides religious, educational, and cultural activities for its members and for the wider community within the framework of practice and ethos of Masorti Judaism. It actively encourages its members to participate in raising funds for other charities and to do practical work for these, and to support projects to enhance social justice.

Objects: The Charity's Objects ("The Objects") Are A) Firstly, The Support Maintenance And Promotion Of The New North London Synagogue ("The Synagogue") And The Advancement And Promotion Of The Practice And Teaching Of Masorti (Traditional) Judaism In Accordance With The Provisions Of This Memorandum And B) Secondly, In So Far As Any Property Of The Charity Is Not Required For The Purpose Set Out In Clause 3(a), To Promote Such Other Objects Which Are Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Charity Shall From Time To Time Determine.
