OBJECTIVES AND AcrtVlTIES Objectives and aims The object of the charity is to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for the recreation or other physical leisure litn¥ dLtivities for the bellefii of the community of St Just and the surrounding distri￿. The charity coniinues to promote the centr¢ for Sports use including football, crickeL badminton, basketball and pickleball and to continue to maintain and improve the Gym and its equipment in order to improve our offering to the Community, along wtth fitness cl&ss opportunities throughout the week. Usage of the centre is gogd with Gym use continuing to incre&se. The charity continues to review grant possibilities and new initiatives. We review or aims, objectives and actÈvities at le￿ once each year to look at what we hav¢ ￿hieVed in the previous 12 months. We have referred to the guidance contsined in th¢ Charity Commission's general guidanc¢ on public benefit when reviewing our aims and objectives and in planning our future activities. th particular, the trustees consider how planned activitÉes will contribute to alms and objeciives th¢y have set. FINANCIAL REVIEW Reserves policy The trust¢¢s aim to create sufficient reserves to ensure the charity can meet the repair and maintenance of the sports centre and any fiJtt]re development. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMEKr Guvrrnillg dDcufftent The charity is controlled by its governing documenL a deed of trusL and constitutes a limited company, limited by guarantee. as defined by the Companies Act 2006.
