The Trustees are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who play a vital role in the delivery of the charlty's actlvltles and the achlevement of Its objectives. The day-to-day operations of the organisation a managed by Ms Judlth Luchuack, Chairperson of the Board, who ensures effectlve coordinatlon and compliance with the charittys Strategic plan. The charltvs core activities include: Provlding immigration advice and casework assistance, Including support with asylum appllcations, appeals, and Change of Condition (COC} request5; Dellverln8 housln8 and welfare beneflt advlce to help cllents access safe accommodatlon and e55entlal 5UPPOrt; Offerlng ICT and employablllty tralning pro8rammes aimed at improvin8 digital literacy, enhancing job readiness, and promoting 5elf-reliance,' Condurtlng En8llsh lan8ua8e and Integration sessions to stren8then soclal Inclusion and promote community cohesion. Promotlng good health, wellbelng and soclal Incluslon, includin8 the provision of recreatlonal and communlty-based actlvltles In the Interests of Social welfare and wlth the alm of Improvln8 people's conditions of life. Provldlng housln& homelessness and welfare support, Including advlce, advocacy and practlcal asslstance to help vulnerable Indlvlduals and famllles access and maintain safe, sultable and affordable accommodation. Developlng CASA UK'S houslng-related servlces, including working with local authorities, housin8 assoclations. landlords and other partner or8anisations to prevent homelessness, assist people experlencing housing difflcultles and support Individuals to sustain thelr accommodation and live independentlv. Golng forward, CASA UK Intends to strengthen the houslng element of its work alongside its existing Immigratlon, welfare, educatlon, trainlng and communlty support servlces. SUMMARY OF MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE YEAR. During the year under revlew, CASA UK continued to deliver impactful services that dlrectly Improved the lives of those it supports. The Integration and Development Programme (IDPI remained one of the charitls flagshlp projects, assistin8 over 270 unemployed refugees, a IO% increase on the previous year, through tallored employability workshops, vocational trainlngi and mentoring SUPPOrt. The Change of Condltlon ICOCI Project contlnued to operate at full capacity in response to growing demand for immlgratlon-related assistance, ensuring that clients were able to regularise their legal status and secure access to publlc servlces. Throu8h its ongoing collaboratlon wlth In Klnd Dlrect, CASA UK dlstrlbuted essentlal household goods, clothlng, and personal care Items to approxlmately 350 Indlvlduals and famllies* providing tanglble relief to those faclng material deprivation. In total, more than 400 Indlvlduals benefSted from CASA UK'S support durlng the reportln8 perS0d. A55iStance covered a wide ran8e of areas includin8 immigration and appeal matters, housin8 and welfare beneflt5, ICT and Back to Work tralnlng, and preparatlon for the Llfe In the UK Test.
