RESERVES POLICY
The trustees would like to work towards a sltuation Whe￿bY the charlty could maintaln unrestrlcted
fund5 at a level which equates approxlmately three months of unrestricted expendlture.
Trustees Responsibllltles In Relation to the Flnancial Statements
The charitles Act requlres the Trustee's to prepare flnancial statement5 for each flnancial year whlch
glves a true and fair view of the state of affalrs of the charlty and the surplus of deflclt of the charlty for
the perlod. In preparln8 these flnanclal statements, the trustees are requirln8 to:

The trustee5 are responslble for keepln8 proper account records, whlch dlsclose wlth reasonable
accuracy at any time the flnanclal p051tlon of the charlty and to enable them to ensure that the flnanclal
statements comply with the charity Att. They are also responsible for 5afeguardlng the assets of the
charlty and hence for the taking reasonable Steps for the preventlon and detection of fraud and other
irre8ularitie5.
GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT.
The charltv 15 governed by a Board of Six Trustees who provlde strate8lc dlrectlon, oversi8ht, and
accountabillty for the or8anisation's operations. The Trustees are supported by a dedicated team of
volunteers who play a vital role in the delivery of the charlty's actlvltles and the achlevement of Its
objectives.
The day-to-day operations of the organisation a￿ managed by Ms Judlth Luchuack, Chairperson of the
Board, who ensures effectlve coordinatlon and compliance with the charittys Strategic plan. She is
supported bythe Project Manager, Mrjoseph Mban8, who oversees on-slte prolett Implementatlon and

mission.
On a daily basis, Cameroon Asylum Support Associatlon ICASA UK) provides a comprehensive range of
service5 designed to meet the needs of asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable mlgrants across the
United Kingdom. The charltvs core activities include:
Provlding immigration advice and casework assistance, Including support with asylum
appllcations, appeals, and Change of Condition (COC} request5;
Dellverln8 housln8 and welfare beneflt advlce to help cllents access safe accommodatlon and
e55entlal 5UPPOrt;
Offerlng ICT and employablllty tralning pro8rammes aimed at improvin8 digital literacy,
enhancing job readiness, and promoting 5elf-reliance,'
Condurtlng En8llsh lan8ua8e and Integration sessions to stren8then soclal Inclusion and promote
community cohesion.
Dlstributlng e55entlal household goods and hy8lene Items through partnershlps such as In Klnd
Dlrect, thereby allevlatlng hardship amon8 low-income famille5;
Operatlng dropln advlce cllnlcs and one-towone consultatlonsi provldln8 8uidance, advocacy, and
slgnpostln8 to speclallst agencies;
Supporting volunteer engagement and development, enabling refugee5 and asylum seekers to 8aln
practlcal work experlence, bulld confldence, and contrlbute meanlngfully to thelr communltles.

Supportlng asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable ml8rants, partlcularly those from the
Cameroonlan community, who are In need by reason of poverty, hardshlpi slcknes5,
homelessness, displacement or other forms of dlstress.
Promotlng good health, wellbelng and soclal Incluslon, includin8 the provision of recreatlonal
and communlty-based actlvltles In the Interests of Social welfare and wlth the alm of Improvln8
people's conditions of life.
Provldlng housln& homelessness and welfare support, Including advlce, advocacy and
practlcal asslstance to help vulnerable Indlvlduals and famllles access and maintain safe,
sultable and affordable accommodation.
Developlng CASA UK'S houslng-related servlces, including working with local authorities,
housin8 assoclations. landlords and other partner or8anisations to prevent homelessness, assist
people experlencing housing difflcultles and support Individuals to sustain thelr
accommodation and live independentlv.
Golng forward, CASA UK Intends to strengthen the houslng element of its work alongside its existing
Immigratlon, welfare, educatlon, trainlng and communlty support servlces. Thls wlll enable the Charlty

to provlde a more holistic response to the need5 of asylum seekers, refu8ees and other vulnerable
people, recognisin8 that access to safe and stable housln8 Is an important foundation for health,
wellbein& integration and long-term independence.
SUMMARY OF MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE YEAR.
During the year under revlew, CASA UK continued to deliver impactful services that dlrectly Improved
the lives of those it supports.
The Integration and Development Programme (IDPI remained one of the charitls flagshlp projects,
assistin8 over 270 unemployed refugees, a IO% increase on the previous year, through tallored
employability workshops, vocational trainlngi and mentoring SUPPOrt.
The Change of Condltlon ICOCI Project contlnued to operate at full capacity in response to growing
demand for immlgratlon-related assistance, ensuring that clients were able to regularise their legal
status and secure access to publlc servlces.
Throu8h its ongoing collaboratlon wlth In Klnd Dlrect, CASA UK dlstrlbuted essentlal household goods,
clothlng, and personal care Items to approxlmately 350 Indlvlduals and famllies* providing tanglble relief
to those faclng material deprivation.
In total, more than 400 Indlvlduals benefSted from CASA UK'S support durlng the reportln8 perS0d.
A55iStance covered a wide ran8e of areas includin8 immigration and appeal matters, housin8 and welfare
beneflt5, ICT and Back to Work tralnlng, and preparatlon for the Llfe In the UK Test.
CASA UK contlnues to demonstrate a strong commltment to empowerlng refugees and asylum seekers
through advocacyi education, and social inclusion initiatives,
FUTURE PRIORITIES
Looklng ahead, CASA UK remalns commltted to strengthenln8 Its servlce dellvery and expandlng Its
community impact, Key priorlties for the forthcomin8 year include:
Expandlng outreach and advocacy servlces to reach a greater number of vulnerable asylum
seekers and newly arrlved refugees;
Enhancln8 di8ltal Incluslon by Introducln8 advanced ICT and onllne employablllty pro8rammes
tailored to current labour market need5;
Stren8thenln8 partnershlps wlth local authorltles, charltable or8anlsatlons, and corporate donor5
to Increase the range and sustalnablllty of support servSces,'
Developln8 a volunteer tralnlng framework to Improve servlce quallty, bulld capacity, and
provlde struttured leaming opportunitie5 for community volunteers,. and
Securln8 addltional funding 5tream5 to enable the continuation and scaling of CASA UK'S fla8shlp
projects, ensurlng long-term resilience and impart.
