Activities
South & South East in Bloom organises an annual campaign that the councils schools commercial interests and residents of the cities towns and villages of the benefit area can enter. Awards are given for horticultural excellence with an emphasis on the environment, community conservation and recycling.
Objects: The Company Is Established: I) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public Living In Or Visiting The Area Of Benefit Particularly By Running Competitions Which Encourage The Display Of Flowers, Shrubs, Trees And Landscapes In Places Visible To The Public; Ii) To Advance The Education Of The Public Particularly School Children, In All Or Any Subjects Concerning Ecological Sustainability And Natural Resource Conservation; And Iii) To Relieve Elderly People In The Area Of Benefit By The Advancement Of Education In The Use Of Land Through All Forms Of Horticulture And Gardening.
