Activities
The Project operates in the west area of Sunderland, providing a range of activities/facilities and services to the Community. These include Carer and Toddler Groups, groups for older people, community garden, wellness and fitness facilities, disabled volunteer scheme, A690 young people's work, stroke rehabilitation programme, art and craft groups.
Objects: The Charitable Objectives Are To Promote The Benefit Of The Estates Of Farringdon, Grindon, Humbledon, Plains Farm, Springwell And Thornley Close (Hereby Designated As 'Area Of Benefit') Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race, Ethnic Origin, Age, Disability Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Church Of Sunderland St Mary And St Peter, The Said Inhabitants, Statutory Authorities And Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants
