Report of the Trustees on the Activity of the Charity The trustees present the independently examined statement of income and expenditure and balance sheet of the charity, in accordance with the adopted accounting policy, for the year ended 31 March 2025. The Trustees met once during the financial year. The financial position 15 reviewed by the Governing Body through the accounts and fi'nancial summaries presented to the Finance Committee. During the year, several educational trips were arranged for the benefit of pupils. These were largely self-funding through voluntary parental contributions. They included variou5 day trips to museums and environmental study centre5. Through fundraising events and contributions from the Friend Society, the charity was able to provide fun day5 for the children and provide support for a new performing stage and curriculum resources. Funds for the provision of wrap around and preschool places were received into the charity account from fee paying parents. These funds were transferred into the school budget as required by the financial policies of the school. Trustees Responsibilities The Trustees are required to prepare Financial Statements for each financial year which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the trust and of the surplus or defi'cit for that period. In preparing those Financial Statements, the Trustees are required to: Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them con5iStently Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent State whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the Financial Statements. Prepare the Financial Statements on the going basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the Trust will continue. The Trustees are responsible for Keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Trust.
