Para 1.20 | The charity made significant progress in 2022. We secured grant funding for a part time Manager’s position which has enabled the expansion of our services with increased opening hours and the recruitment of more volunteers. With cancer services under increased pressure, it is even more crucial for people affected by cancer to have someone to talk to outside of their immediate circle. We also provide signposting services on other sources of help, benefits etc, as well as complementary therapies including reflexology. We run regular social events, craft workshops etc. Our holiday home provides respite breaks for people affected by cancer. Our service is aimed at supporting patients and their loved ones through their treatment and beyond. |
