The principle activity of the charity is to support racial minorities as priorities within a multi-racial approach, and to help them to reach their full potential through the provision of appropriate services.

Objects: 1) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public Any Charitable Purpose Connected With Urban Regeneration In Areas Of Social And Economic Deprivation In Liverpool With Particular Emphasis On The Needs Of Liverpool 8 By All Or Any Of The Following Means:-A) To Promote Education And Training Opportunities With Special Emphasis On Providing Access To Such Opportunities For People Who Are By Reason Of Social Or Economic Disadvantage Are Otherwise Unable To Gain Such Access.b) To Provide Advice, Information And Assistance In Relation To Citizenship So As To Develop Their Capacity And Potential Of Individuals As Members Of Society And That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved.c) To Protect And Preserve The Good Health Of Those Who Are In Danger Of Becoming Addicted To Or Dependant Upon Or Those Who Have Already Become So Addicted Or Dependant On Legal Or Illegal Drugs Of Any Description.d) To Relieve Unemployment By The Provision Of Advice And Training To Unemployed Individuals Concerning Unemployment, Self-Employment And The Establishment Of Co-Operative Enterprises And The Provision Of Cv Writing, Job Search And Job Club Facilities For Them.e) The Provision Of Practical Support Of Unemployed People By Child Care Facilities Or Assistance With Travel.f) The Provision Of Land And Buildings At Below Or Subsidised Rents To Businesses Starting Up.g) The Provision Of Capital Grants For Equipment For New Businesses, Or The Payment To Existing Commercial Businesses To Take On Additional Staff From Amongst Unemployed People.h) To Relieve Housing Need By The Provision Of Advice, Information, Assistance And Representation To Those In Circumstances Of Housing Need, Or Facilitating The Provision Of Improvement Of Social Housing Through Co-Operation And Partnership With Other Agencies.i) To Provide Or Promote The Provision Or Recreational Facilities For Those In Need Through Co-Operation And Partnership With Other Agencies.j) To Relieve Poverty.k) To Protect, Enhance And Conserve The Environment.l) To Provide Public Health Facilities And Childcare.m) To Promote Public Safety And Prevention Of Crime.n) Such Other Means Which May From Time To Time Be Determined.2) To Provide Support, Advice, Education And Training For Women Of Diverse Culture Who Have Experienced Oppression And Discrimination.
